Comparative Analysis of Operative Procedures In Complete Rectal Prolapse

Abstract
|
|
|
This study is a review and analysis of 33 cases of complete rectal prolapsed. We divided these cases into 4 groups as follows;
A) Risptein operation and its modification.
B) Orr´s operation and Orr´s operation with Moscowitz operation.
C) Delorme´s operation.
D) Thiersch´s operation and its modification.
And discussed these, particulary in the respect of early postoperative results. We obtained the following results.
1) The early postoperative results were similar in the group A.B.C.
2) The modified Ripstein operation had the excellent result.
3) Delorme´s operation was simple and safe procedure and the result was effective, too.
